Friendship

This poem is in response to the video posted by Karayan.

When you are feeling very low

Or feel the happiness in you glow,

It is good friends who surround you

And hold your hand and ground you.

What is life without good friends around

Making  your world wonderful and sound

I feel blessed to have great people in my life

Who keep me happy in the midst of all the strife

They are my strength when I am weak

They are my voice when I cannot speak

They have walked with me in all the darkness

Held my hand in all the bleakness

They are my foundation on which I stand

They make my darkest days feel grand.

So thank you God for this wonderful gift

And in this matter let there be no negative shift.
