Loneliness

Loneliness is not a curse

It is a time to nurse

all our old deep wounds

and find some peace in the noon.

It is time to introspect and

try to shed what is suspect.

We may find a shimmering light

inside us that we thought was slight,

we can right some wrongs in us

to find that God within us.

Loneliness is not to be feared

but instead should be revered.

Let us each take some time

to refine ourselves with the sands of time....

    loneliness is not a curse, when it is short, but it become a pain when it is long,cant heal the wounds but deepens it...

    Dear GFK
    Your poem is very nice.But there is a chance of variation in the interpretation.I feel Karayan took it in a different sense.I also agree that lonliness is must at times to revisit our thoughts where we can balance the state of our emotions.That's why meditation a state of silence keeps our mind,body and soul healthy.
