கால்நடை curriculum 2nd year, 2nd & 3rd trimester

2nd year - 2nd trimester
Myology and Angiology - The Seshadri couple
Neurology and aesthesiology - The Seshadris/விஜய ராகவன்) - I will still not forget the mnemonic for the 12 cranial nerves, actually I do mention it to some of my students, unfortunately it is quite "R" rated to blog it.
Muscle and Nervous system - மங்கள் ராஜ் (விசில் அடிச்சான் &*%$)
Endocrinology & reproduction - daddy? All I can remember is his volume dropping off after 2 seonds of classes and the paper that was yellow in color because the notes were so ancient that he dictated from. I also remember bhai and other classmates sitting or laying in the backrow benches and listening to cricket commentary or sleeping. Since this was the class with the gallery students would come to the beginning of class and after attendance would leave through the back door. It was funny to see them passing by while we were sitting in class. I guess it was funnier for them to see us sitting in class!
Dairy microbiology - நரசிம்ஹான்
this is where I think our lovely classmates drank all the rose milk and ate some of the palgova.
Practices of animal management - சப்பாத்தி (பாய் -I can't find all those lovely comments you had, please post them again if you have removed it) I dohave memories of lifting the horse's hind leg and praying that I won't get kicked. Feeding carrots to the horses during NCC didn't necessarily help in the friendship but it helped later on.

2nd year - third trimester
Embryology - விஜயராகவான்
I vaguely remember looking at a lot of slides. He was a good teacher.
Dairy technology - I think it is நரசிம்ஹன்
Bacteriology - ?? (all I remember is that classes were cancelled most of the time)
Pathology I and II - some guy with a lisp and he used to wear glasses. The labs were something else with postmortems and looking at jars of infected muscle specimens. I gave up meat for the rest of my veterinary days in India and didn't start eating it until I came here.
Animal nutrition - ஜொள்ளு கதிர்வேல். மனுஷுன் பொண்ணுங்கள் முகத்தையே பார்க்கமாட்டார்.
Parasitology - ராஜவேலு? (he was also my advisor) I do remember doing very badly on my first practical exam because I had switched the order of the slides in my exam, that was crazy! The fecal sample analysis of various animals was quite the challenge to my senses of olfaction. I will continue the 3rd year subjects next week.
