Bhai - I really like how you post these pictures intermittently like a candy treat for us to be periodically reminded of our good times. Nainital has some great memories for me. My hair got caught in the brambles because we took the boat too close to the vegetation by the shore. Baagavadhar sang in while we were idling our boat in the middle of the lake. I remember the candle stores. They had some really cool candle stores in this town. The food was excellent because I remember that I finally started to realize that I am not getting any rice and I better start eating naan. Gujili
Yes Gujili getting stuck in the bramble bush is very fresh in my memory. I loved Nainital of all the hill stations. I remember drinking hot tea as soon as we got down from the bus which was the best. The candle shops were wonderful. I loved the hotel room. Thanks Bhai for bringing back these memories for us. GFK
Bhai... You are making us to feel going for all india tour again. After seeing these snaps we could recollect our memories.I think we feel the real hill station climate in Nainital rather than Simla. Also remembering Ganesa Pandian was out of controll in the night hours. In the boat he was sitting like a calm and quite person. Chocks
1.Gujili-Yes,the boating there was a nice one as do candle stores.Thank God,your hair was saved. You could have thought trimming it for ever like GFK.Moreover,Rice was not available and Unlike you I compensated with 'Paraandhaa'-nothing but our parota stuffed with potatoes.I relished it much. 2.Yes GFK, the tea served in a mud cup was really tasty and was costly at that time -Re.1. 3.Chocks-you are correct.Naini was better than Shim.Pandi was still under 'Thanni Coma',that's why he looked like a doll. 4.Karayan-Un manaiwiyidam sol.'Nam gang was neither rowdy nor kadalai koshty'.Moreover one can't enjoy or move freely in the presence of kutties.
I have to second Bhai's comment about your gang not being kadalai or rowdy goshty! Thank you.. I have to say that I didn't feel rowdified or kadalufied in the presence of our classmates. That sort of atmosphere prevailed more among seniors, at least that is my percpetion. Gujili
Bhai: I second Gujili's comments,if anything we felt protected by all of you and the sandakozhi that I was i might have fought with some of you but always there was respect and affection none of the sleazy kadalai pottufying, GFK
