Folks - believe it or not for a woman, the most important thing that her KKD can do for her is the simple things! Like washing dishes, doing laundry and folding clothes. All the diamonds jewelry, clothes and cars pale in comparison to those thoughtful chores. I am reminded of one incident in my life that happened when I had gone to a conference in Texas a few years ago. I drove to the airport and parked the car there because Philip had class in the morning and therefore could not give me a ride to the airport. So the car was parked in the airport open lot because there were no spots available in the garage lots. Well while I was away for 3 days we had a snowstorm here close to 8 inches. This was unexpected as the weather folks had said that the storm was north of us and should not affect us. We all know that meterologists don't always predict right (the only profession where one can be wrong in their job half the time and still have a job - I will save that for another blog post) but back to our story. Anyway, my colleague and myself got out of our flight and were shocked to see the amount of snow on the ground. When the ploughs remove the snow most of the time they will plough your car in so you can't get out unless you have a shovel. But then you need a broom to brush the car off the 8 inches of snow along with ice cakedon it before one can even open the door. Well I come to the parking lot the car did not have a single micron of snow on it and it was shoveled around so my colleague and myself were bewildered. I coudln't figure out who could have done it because my KKD was the last person I would have guessed! Well I came home and found out who the Good Samaritan was. I would have to say that is the kindest gesture that I have seen in our life together! Gujili
