There are few dishes like Eriseri,Puliseri,Kuzhai puttu are from Kerala.Most of the dishes are from Tirunelveli district items. Sodhi virundu on the next day of marriage is still a compulsory formality.As still non vej is banned in homes (of course most takes non veg in hotels)we do lot of varieties in veg.But the current generation including my daughter prefers pizza and burger rather than this healthy items

Oh yes - now my mouth is watering. Mundhiri kotthu, koootan choru, aviyal all of which I love. I have ragi koozhl at home now that I sometimes drink at night if I had a heavy lunch to avoid eating too much. Koozhl is quite filling and very goood for your health. Like chocks says I don't think all of these dishes originated from tirunelveli.
