  2. we eat in maasi, panguni, chithirai, vaikasi,etc,etc. thuvayals are eaten all months..why you are particular about the month of maasi(sorry konjam kadichu paarthen....)
    Bhai, summa bandhaa vudaatha, veetula kekkurennu, seiyarathe neethaane, summaa koocha padaama sollu....(naan ithellaam seiyarathillai)

  4. GFK - got this definition off the web.
    Masi is a processed salted-dryfish known as dried Maldives fish(they bury a smoked fish for few weeks in soil).This Masi preparation is popular in Coastal Areas of TamilNadu like Tuticorin.An ideal side-dish for Appam or Idiappam.
    It is yummy and I love it, actually my mum makes it and I eat it with thayir saadham, sambar saatham and other stuff.

  5. Take some fresh coconut,add maasi powder+salt+onion+red chilli+pori kadalai and grind in a mixer.Ready.
