We are the blessed on this earth

never to have felt any need or dearth.

The poor, sick, aged and needy

the side effect of a society which is greedy.

Having no time to look at them

giving not a single caring thought for them.

This is a curse and shame on all of us

we are all part and parcel of this curse.

To try and create an egalitarian world

is our duty and responsibility in this world.

If every compassionate heart can share

spare a little of what we can share.

This world could become a better place

for our children and us in the coming days.

நம்முடைய நஷ்டம் அமெரிக்காவின் லாபம்,  மகிழ்ச்சியும் இல்லை வருத்தமும் இல்லை என்று சொல்லி விட முடியாத உணர்வு. இது எந்த மாதிரியான உணர்வு என்றால் நம்முடன் பிறந்து பகிர்ந்து உயிராய் உடனிருந்த சகோதரி திருமணமாகி கணவன் வீட்டிற்கு செல்வது போன்ற உணர்வு, பிரிவு சோகம் என்றாலும், வாழ்வின் அடுத்த நிலைக்கு செல்வதில் ஒரு மகிழ்ச்சி.  காதலித்த பெண் வேறொருவரை திருமணம் செய்து கொண்டு சொல்வது போன்ற உணர்வு, இதில் சோகம் அதிகம் என்றாலும் இது நம்முடைய இயலாமையின் வெளிப்பாடு.

This is what I woke up to this morning - 25.4 centimeters of snow!
 The maple tree had flower buds on it and now it is covered with snow.

 Our street ...

My neighbor's yard.

 You can see the thickness /height of the snow on our mailbox.

The lilac bush outside our kitchen window also had flower buds but now it has white snow flowers!

The woods in front our house by the main street is also covered... As kkd is shoveling there is more snow coming down...
I am ready for this winter to be over but it is not leaving us yet!

My parents are visiting me and Neal participated in the Ribbon Festival. it is a state piano festival where children play in front of judges. There are a total of 8 ribbons and children get one ribbon foe every year of playing. Neal got his third ribbon this year.

Often a cultural taboo, discussing the death of a family member and how to deal with the body and the estate is considered offensive to the elders.

The person's accounts are frozen and visa is cancelled—leaving the dependants without enough money for survival and forced to leave the country. Life insurance may not be paid out immediately and the court may take months, if not years, to distribute the person's estate. Those that do not set aside a lump sum of money behind for the family leave behind a knot of financial problems for their family to sort.
Dying in Dubai is expensive: families must start saving money and preparing for the death of a loved one to avoid financial and legal problems after the event.
The Valley of Love, a non-government organization, last year reported 100 cases of families facing financial problems following the death of a relative.
Gulf News takes you through the paper trail and cost of death in Dubai, providing experts' advice on how to prepare for the event.
Additional specifics on Repatriation costs:
- Calculated by kilo of body and coffin weight. Varies by destination, airlines and total weight. Saving tip: repatriate the body in a cheaper and lighter coffin and transfer to a more elaborate one at home.

என்னடா இவன் சம்பந்தமே இல்லாமல் போனீஸ் பற்றி எழுதுகின்றானே என நினைக்க வேண்டாம். பெரும்பாலான stud farms இல் போனி ஒன்றோ இரண்டோ  இருக்கும் அதனுடைய வேலை mares estrus இல் இருக்கின்றதா என்பதை தெரிந்து கொள்வதுதான், போனீஸ் களை வைத்து டீஸ் செய்யும்போது estrus இல் இருக்கும் mares நன்றாக கவரிங் இல் நிற்குமா என்பதை உறுதி செய்வது மட்டும்தான் போனியின் வேலை, estrus இல் இல்லாத mare இடம் உதை வாங்குவதும் போனீஸ் தான். கடைசியில்   stallion தான் கவரிங் செய்யும், இதுபோன்றதுதான் நம்மில் பெரும்பாலானோரின் பணி சூழல். நேற்று நண்பர் ஒருவர் கால்நடை மருத்துவராக அருகில் ஒரு stud farm -ல் பணி  புரிகிறார் மிகவும் நொந்து அவர் கவலைகளை என்னிடம் பகிர்ந்து கொண்டார். அவருடைய பண்ணையில் அவருடன் பணி புரியும் மேலாளர் பற்றி புலம்பிக்கொண்டு இருந்தார், கடந்த மூன்று வாரத்தில் மூன்று குதிரைகள் காலிக் காரணாமாக இறந்து விட்டன, பழி முழுவதையும் நம் நண்பர் மேல் போட்டு மேலாளர்(அமெரிக்காவை சேர்ந்தவர்) தப்பித்து கொண்டார், இப்போது நம் மருத்துவ நண்பர் கடும் நெருக்கடியில், குதிரைகள் சினை ஆகும்போதும், குட்டி போடும்போதும்  மேலாளர் அவரால்தான் எல்லாம் நல்லபடியாக நடந்ததாக முதலாளியிடம் சென்று தம்பட்டம் அடித்து கொள்வார், இப்போது குதிரைகள் சாகும்போது மருத்துவர்தான் காரணம் என முதலாளியிடம் கூறுகிறார், குதிரைக்கான feeding மற்றும் அனைத்து நிர்வாகமும் கவனிப்பது மேலாளர்தான் அப்படி இருக்கும்போது நான் எப்படி காரணம் ஆக முடியும் என மிகவும் கவலையுடன் கூறினார். 

இந்த நண்பர் போல் நம்மில் பலரும் போனீஸ் ஆக அனுபவப்பட்டிருப்போம், சென்னை நட்சத்திரங்கள் தங்களின் அனுபவங்கள் மற்றும் கருத்துக்களை comments -இல் எழுதாமல் பிளாக் போஸ்ட் ஆக எழுதவும்.
